Athletes registered for Sat 6th/Sun 7th August-please check

Hi everyone Sounds as though the snow is great at the moment. Can I ask you to take a moment and check your athlete attendances please for next weekend? These are the surnames of the U10-U16 athletes we are expecting next weekend. U16 Mead, Cobcroft, Cusack, Davis, Dowling, Soros, Falk, Gaul, Heaydon, Hughes. Lennon, Selig, Phillips, Hoffman U14 Baff, Bokanovic, Braysich, Brennan, Cobcroft, Murphy, Davis, Dowling, Droga, Falkiner, Halley, Hardman, Howell *2, Hughes, Manka, Punch, Phillips, Hoffman, Zylinski U12 Mead, Cusack, Davis, Heaydon, Hughes, Lennon, McKay, Powell, Phillips, Wessels U10 Lennon, Maitz, Manka, Hoffman Today we had many athletes registered to train, and organised coach numbers  accordingly. There was a major disconnect in attendance bookings and no shows. U14s for example had 7 of 18 registered athletes not show up. We match coaching numbers to athlete attendance, allowing the overall programme to be kept to a minimum. One day of coaching costs the club about $750-$800 per coach.  If we use up our resources because the numbers mismatch, we have less flexibility for other expenses eg laptops for video analysis, video cameras for each age group, kitchen gadgets, tuning vices, etc etc. If booking training days and notifying us re changes ( not the night before!) is unreliable we will need to cost the programme for 2017 to have all coaches on deck for all training days no matter how many athletes are expected. This will be a much more expensive programme but will save everyone having to fill out “days”, and save us having to fill out anticipated attendance spreadsheets and book coaching numbers week to week. Tomorrow Geoff is going  to phone every one on the list above and confirm next...
