No spring camps /Clubhouse access

Hi everyone- I believe that there were some people who had signed on for possible “spring camp” training days this week, but given the snow conditions this week and low numbers interested, they were cancelled on the weekend. I believe there is a post somewhere on Trent’s phone that didn’t make it onto this page, so I apologise if the message/contact/information didn’t filter through to those families. Apparently there were also several athletes who haven’t had their door keys recoded and so were unable to get into the clubhouse this morning without a bit of a nuisance. We have rewedged open the front door until Sunday but then will allow it to be locked again. It is not ideal to leave the clubhouse open even though you have lockers as there is other equipment, microwaves, television screens, kitchen supplies not locked away. Geoff is not around this week as he is at interschools. So- if you have not had your door key recoded I would suggest that you remove all your gear this week and not leave it till the morning of the race on your way around to Perisher for Interschools competitions (Those who do have master keys may not be in Thredbo later in the week.) It wouldn’t be good for anyone’s stress levels to cope with that. In general there are 4 master keys- BJ, Richard(or me), Trent and Kim Clifford. Wonderful children’s race results from everyone, best of luck for interschools...

You will need to put your boots on on the train and walk straight out the train doors onto the snow( no going up stairs anyone) This includes parents. Everyone will leave the Blue Cow terminal as a group at 6.55 am to go to the course, 7.30 inspection and 8.10 first racer. U 12s first, thenU14 then U16 Second run course inspection9.45 and 10.30 start. If you don’t think you can be this efficient then catch the 6 am train.
