There is nothing official scheduled for this “Long Weekend”. The clubhouse will be open and lockers have already been allocated. Gabi Robertson has put stickers on each locker so feel free to bring your gear down and start getting ready for the season. Remember to bring a medium sized lock for the locker latch – and two keys – one for your child and one for you!.
The Head Coach, Joe Draxal will be at the clubhouse for most of the weekend so feel free to discuss coaching and ski equipment issues with him.
I will not be down this weekend so please post all forms and cheques for training fees to PO Box 249, Northbridge 1560. To date I have only received a small number so am expecting the balance of forms and cheques over the next week.

Set in the Kosciuszko National Park and designed as per a European skiing town, Thredbo ski resorts offers the steepest terrain of all the ski resorts in Australia and the highest elevated point at 2037 m AHD. The town itself is located on the low altitude at 1365 m at the foot of the Crackenback Valley due to which the resort’s lower half is not permanently cover with the snow because of the prevailing higher temperatures. So, the average snowfall in the village is 2.04 m. Therefore, at night, when the temperature is below zero degree Celsius, the activity of snow making is one of the interesting must do things here.
