U12 Program (Athletes Born 2015–2016)
The U12 Program is designed for young skiers who demonstrate strong foundational skiing skills and are motivated to further develop their alpine skiing and racing abilities.
In line with Snow Australia's athlete development philosophy, the program places a strong emphasis on building fundamental skiing skills during the early stages of an athlete's development. This is achieved through extensive technical free skiing, exposure to varied terrain and snow conditions, and engaging skills-based activities delivered in a challenging and enjoyable environment.
For this age group, TSRC prioritises long-term athlete development by focusing on quality training experiences rather than excessive racing. The objective is to maximise skill acquisition, confidence, and enjoyment of the sport while establishing a strong foundation for future progression within the Alpine pathway.
Safety, Fun and Learning are fundamental to the program.
