INFO-Early morning training.

Hi again,a few more points on possibility on early morning training to msake things clear..

-Arrive early at the clubhouse so the early morning session is not stressful and more productive (640am)

-Leave the clubhouse by 655am at latest or else you will not make the last lift up at 7am.

-There are several reasons why there might be a change of plan, eg.weather is bad and llift cant run or snowmaking guns are still making snow.

-IT IS SUPER IMPORTANT that you check on facebook or e mail at 530am to see if there is a change of plan or if there has been an update.Otherwise you might be sitting in the clubhouse by yourself at 7am (it has happened before..) No update by 530 means that we will go ahead with 7am training.Any questions you should know my number by now 0402321557 call any time ,Joe

Later,Joe

Website alterations

Hi everyone

Thankyou for bearing with us while we have been modifying the website. It has only been as we have tried to use it that some glitches have become apparent. Many of you have already navigated it successfully . Hugh Stevens has been putting in many many hours  in Canberra (while he is recovering from a  nasty fractured leg at training last year as well as going to Uni) getting this website functional for us.

For those who haven’t -try these tips

1.To receive training information and newsletters On the lower right hand side of the homepage you and your athletes should tick both training information and newsletter to receive daily messages from Jo/coaches.

image

2. Race entries Across the top of the website please enter the races held by TSRC ( ie TSRC Cup, Thredbo FIS week and Children’s Nationals). This can be done without actually logging in to the site. You need to enter for the races here as this is how the race secretary will receive the entries. She will not look at the training calendar list, that is for Jo to organise coaching numbers

More than one athlete from the same family can now be entered on this page. You will need their registration number from SSA or FIS to complete the entries.

image

3.To log in to the site ( the tricky bit that is no longer tricky!) -Go to top right hand side of home page, click on log in or register then a panel will appear asking you to sign in, click register. Enter your details there ( as the parent if you are one, or as the athlete if you are organising your own training). You will then receive and email with an activation link. Click once on that link (that activates your account). You should then be taken to a page saying your account is activated.

image

Now you can log in on top right hand side “Log in or register” with your details, and above “my account” a panel will appear with various club activities-training calendar/races/volunteer options/events. From there you can go through the training calendar and put your athlete’s name against the relevant training AND race days. You can add more than one athlete from the same family. You can also enter them into races here either through “races” or through “race series”.

image

If you have already logged on in your child’s name it would be better to edit your profile back to your name now as you can enter their names independently onto the calendar and into the races. (Some of you are entered as the parent doing the training as that was the only way to do it before we modified the site)

So in summary

Tick homepage to receive training and newsletters and enter your name and email address there.

Enter the TSRC hosted races and volunteer sections please. We would expect you to volunteer for the races in which your athletes are competing as well as one interschools or Redlands Cup day throughout the season.

Log into site, complete the training day calendar from there. Please double check that the entries already done are correct.

Let us know if there are any problems

Thanks

Felicity
