Website alterations

Hi everyone Thankyou for bearing with us while we have been modifying the website. It has only been as we have tried to use it that some glitches have become apparent. Many of you have already navigated it successfully . Hugh Stevens has been putting in many many hours  in Canberra (while he is recovering from a  nasty fractured leg at training last year as well as going to Uni) getting this website functional for us. For those who haven’t -try these tips 1.To receive training information and newsletters On the lower right hand side of the homepage you and your athletes should tick both training information and newsletter to receive daily messages from Jo/coaches. 2. Race entries Across the top of the website please enter the races held by TSRC ( ie TSRC Cup, Thredbo FIS week and Children’s Nationals). This can be done without actually logging in to the site. You need to enter for the races here as this is how the race secretary will receive the entries. She will not look at the training calendar list, that is for Jo to organise coaching numbers More than one athlete from the same family can now be entered on this page. You will need their registration number from SSA or FIS to complete the entries. 3.To log in to the site ( the tricky bit that is no longer tricky!) -Go to top right hand side of home page, click on log in or register then a panel will appear asking you to sign in, click register. Enter your details there ( as the parent if you...

Could all athletes and parents check the SSA calendar and notify us within the next 48 hours both by entering on the website and if you have any problems by emailing us on info@thredboskiracing.com which races you will be competing in, and whether you will need transport and acommodation. If we haven’t had confirmation by Thursday we will not be counting you in. We will be booking team accommodation and possibly transport depending on numbers /costs and want the athletes and coaches to stay together as a team  Buller and Hotham ( for FIS) and Buller for the U16 and U 14s. Races for U16/U14 TSRC Cup Training Fri 20th, Racing Sat 21 and 22nd July Blue Cow Cup Training Thurs 9th August Racing GS Friday 10th, SL Sat 11th and SX Sunday 12th August Buller Training Thursday16th August, Racing Friday 17th  SL,  Sat 18th SX, Sun 19th GS This year the Buller childrens races are the first half of the National Childrens series. This will carry ” better points” this year than the Blue Cow Cup so if points are important for your athlete re possible national team selection ( as this is done on the points at the end of the seasons) than they should compete in TSRC Cup, the Buller races ( as well as or in preference to Blue Cow Cup) as well as the National Childrens Nationals in Thredbo. If the points are not crucial this year then save your $ and stay in NSW, doing TSRC Cup, Blue Cow Cup and National Childrens in Thredbo. National Childrens Championships Thredbo Training Friday 31st August Racing Sat 1st Sep,...

Members’ Website Information

The website this year contains new features which will are important to bring to the attention of all club members.  This includes a training calendar, a volunteers section and race information. Training Calender For all club members this year there is a new system to select when they will be training.  To do this firstly they must login to the website by hitting the login tab on the top right.  After opening the menu they will be able to sign in or register a new account on the website. Accessing the website with your user account will give you a new menu.  From this menu you can change your settings and access the Training Calender section under Club Activities on the right. This will give members access to a section where they can enter their date of birth (for training grouping) then view and select which days they will be present at training.  The list states what training is available on given days throughout the season. Members will be able to change their preferences up till 7 days before the date.  After this time a change will require direct contact with Joe to organise any changes.  Coaching is one of the greatest costs for the club and by using this system the club will be better able to schedule coaches as required to match demand.  For this reason we encourage all members to fill in their training preferences immediately as far into the future as possible.  Members will be charged for any extra training based on their selection. Volunteers Races require a huge amount of effort by the club...
