As you would know Europe has received incredible snowfalls recently bringing with it increased avalanche risks. We ask all those out on the slopes to please ensure you are aware of the dangers, have the right equipment and show caution when entering new areas. Also, please remember that the out of bounds runs / closures may differ from North American and European resorts. Have a great season and please make sure you stay...

TSRC – That’s a wrap for the 2018 season

Hi Everyone, Well that’s a wrap for the 2018 Australian season – and what a season it was. Great snow right from the first day of training – resulting in the athletes having lots of quality hours on the hill – and thanks to the great work of Richard, KT and the grooming team – excellent mountain access and lane space.  This year saw TSRC provide consistent quality training from a great team of coaches. We had access to lane space on a daily bases that allowed age appropriate courses for SL and GS from FIS through to the under 12’s and we also provided a good mix of skills, drills, free skiing and technical free skiing as well as time on the “blades”.  While in most cases training hard – the athletes also appeared to have a pretty good time – with friendships and a supportive culture being a key attribute of the “club”. Before we all move into summer mode and then for many, head over to the northern winter ski fields there are a few items to wrap up; Volunteers We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the TSRC volunteers including parents, carers, past members and friends of the club. TSRC is a “Not for profit” – with no government or external funding. Without the volunteer “army” that is TSRC we could not do what we do. From day one this season the “army” was on the job – getting the club house ready, repairing equipment, cleaning the club house, running the TSRC cup, Interschools starters for Northern Division, States, the Redlands cup, and a fantastic volunteer effort...
